Last Monday I went to get some frames for the new prints with Erwin. It turned out to be quite an adventure and I lost a lot of time, so I didn't have time to go pick up the actual prints in Amsterdam yesterday. Thankfully Rob was so kind to pick them up for me and now I finally have them.
I can tell you, they look a-ma-zing. I'm always surprised at how beautiful giclée prints look, especially on large format. It really looks like I penciled, inked and splattered on the actual paper in front of me. What I mostly enjoy is seeing the Desert Dust illustration on big format, the size I designed it for. Looks a lot better than the small size on A4 paper or on my computer screen. I didn't know it would make such a difference, something to think about maybe?

I also have a nice stamp to professionally mark all the prints in the back. They have my name, my signature and number of print on it. These babies are going to be limited to 15 prints max. So if you want one, contact me on time please. Here you can see the signing process:

And so all my prints are ready, signed and framed for upcoming Friday. They are BIG! (70x50 cm) I was really surprised at the size because last time I had a lot of white space around the prints. Hope it will still be as impressive in the Coffee Company as it is in my living room. See you guys next Friday, I can't wait!
P.S. I'm still keeping the 3rd illustration a surprise for the opening. But if you can't make it to the exhibition, I will post it on my website the week after the opening.

And Erwin, did you eventually manage to sign your prints before the opening?
