Preview for the Summer Carnival illustration

Last week I was working on a really nice assignment for the upcoming Uitagenda. They asked me to illustrate the cover and to make a huge spread illustration about the Summer Carnival in Rotterdam. The illustration I made for the spread is extra nice because they're going to print it in the center of the magazine, so you can also hang it up as a poster.
As you might know, the Summer carnival is all about the huge over-the-top feathery costumes, loud happy music and lots of dancing, so the illustrations had to reflect this. I have to say, I don't think I've ever used this much color in an illustration before. Here's a little preview of the centerfold illustration in the making.
The new Uitagenda is coming out at the end of May, so I'll post the new illustrations around that time.
